WebGIS

This is my application activity submitted as one of the requirements for achieving the Bachelor of Engineering in Geodetic and Geomatics Engineering Study Program.

This application activity produces an interactive map related to the distribution of planning permission and building permits applicant locations in Yogyakarta City, which can be accessed through the https://bit.ly/RuangCerdasWebGIS page. Access to the WebGIS is limited to relevant agencies, namely DPTR Yogyakarta City, because the information contained in it is sensitive information.

The background to this practical activity is the rate of population growth in Yogyakarta City is not accompanied by an increase in the amount of residential land, resulting in the conversion of agricultural land into settlements. One of the efforts that can be made to deal with this is through the formulation of the Detailed Spatial Plan and supervision in the issuance of building permits, including supervision on the issuance of planning permission, which is one of the requirements for the issuance of building permits. Therefore, a web-based GIS is needed to visualize the distribution of planning permission locations, which can then be used to monitor the issuance of building permits.
