Infographic Maps
The infographic map of fire incidents in Bantul Regency displays the number of fire incidents per sub-district in 2019 as well as the number of fire incidents in each sub-district over the past 10 years. The creation of the infographic map is sourced from the data provided by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.
The creation of infographic maps aims to make maps more interactive, thus facilitating users in obtaining the desired information. Infographic map creation utilizes QGIS as a toolset with features such as Map Composer and Data Plotly to support the information being conveyed.
Based on the infographic map above, it can be observed that the highest number of fire incidents occurred in Sewon sub-district, with a total of 124 cases. The average number of fire incidents in Bantul Regency itself is 50 cases.
